Thomas Wright Thornburg King was an American actor from Okmulgee, Oklahoma. In the 1940s, he studied acting at the St. Louis School of Theatre, but enlisted in the United States Navy when America entered World War II. Wright played the part of Doctor Galen in the 1968 film, Planet of the Apes. His son Meegan King later played Gregor in the Planet of the Apes TV series.
