Horses are used as mounts by both humans and evolved apes , in the Planet of the Apes franchise.
Notes
- The horses that the apes use in "Dawn of the Planet of the Apes" are the horses or at least the descendants of the horses used by police during the Battle of the Golden Gate Bridge. Maybe the horses fled from the police across the golden gate bridge and wondering into the Muir Woods Park.
- It is unknown if the Simian Flu effected the Horses, thought this is unlikely.
