Actress Monica Mustelier played the role of 'Lab Tech #3' in the 2011 movie Rise of the Planet of the Apes. From Vancouver, Mustelier moved to San Francisco in 1999 to work with non-profit humanitarian organizations, including co-creating 'Beyond the Global Divide' (BGD). Returning to Vancouver, she fell into acting. Some of her film and TV acting credits include Smallville (2006), Big Head (2009), Supernatural (2009), Hardwired (2009), Sanctuary (2009), True Justice (2011) and Fringe (2011). She also starred in and co-wrote the web series Mandy & John, and produced, co-wrote and acted in the dark comedy God Squad, for which she took home the Best Actress award at the Vancouver Short Film Festival in 2009. Mustelier has written, directed, produced and acted for the stage and is an acting coach. In 2010 she co-founded the non-profit organization 'Munay Wawa' to support the education of children in Chinchero, Peru.
