David Chow was an actor who appeared as a chimpanzee in the Planet of the Apes movie. He was featured in a four-and-a-half minute look at the film's special features and make-up application process in 1968. In the short film intended for Fox executives Chow is shown at different stages being made-up as a chimp, and narrates the sequence. Titled 'Vintage Planet of the Apes Featurette', this has since become a staple bonus inclusion on DVD and blu-ray releases of the movie. Chow later appeared in Conquest of the Planet of the Apes as (the chimp version of) Aldo, though with a reduced role from that outlined in the original script.
