Maurice is my favorite ape, hes funny. But, I wanna know, was it Maurice in the 2001 remake that was the old ape (I forgot some names since its a reimagining also...)'s friend? Or was that just another ape, cuz he looks like a circus organantang. Please answer if you know, also tell me, is Dawn of the Apes still coming out in 2014, I haven't heard much news of it... I might check movieinsider when I have time, but if you find this first, please answer if you know.

I have been giving alot of thought into how all three versions of the planet of the apes films sereis could be integrated into a single timline
here are a few details
Cornelius and Zira did not arrive on earth in the past but rather onto ashlar
Oberon was launched by humans trying to escape earth and simply pretend that the occurances on earth were not happening, thus their goal was to find a new world and live in denial that it wasnt earth. Mimicking the old world as best they could
of course its all very silly, but if someone thinks its an interesting idea I may make a timeline up for it for kicks :P

Rise of the Planet of the Apes was released in theaters over this weekend. And it should be no surprise that we all all going ape-bonkers over this new film. In it's first week at the box office, the apes managed to take home a cool fifty-four million dollars and be the number one at the box office. (I wonder how many bananas $54 million dollars would buy)
The film stars James Franco, Freida Pinto, and Andy Serkis. The film was probably helped a little bit by critics who seemed to be mostly favorable of the film. Also high-praise has been given to the realistic and almost photo like quality of the apes.
The Smurfs movie finished at second place and Cowboys and Aliens finished at third place.
Were you able to make it out this weekend to see the…
